National Arbitration Center for International Arbitration and Alternate Dispute Resolution is a private institutional arbitral organization based at New Delhi, India. We have applied to ICANN for approval as a Domain Name Dispute Resolution Service Provider. The number of registrations of top level domain names in India are ever increasing and according to the latest statistics, India was one of the largest registrar of domain names. Another fact is that in India, a large number of individuals and business houses suffer because of squatters, who infringe the intellectual property rights of the rightful owner. However, very few of them seek redressal from ICANN approved dispute resolution providers. The main reason behind this is that most of the individuals and companies cannot afford to pay the high arbitration fees. And even in cases where they can afford, the lengthy and tedious foreign exchange procedures discourage them from approaching these providers.

In case of disputes, the domain owners generally approach the Court of Law, which is already overburdened with millions of pending cases.
